Keep Student Athlete Bright While Monday Night Lights are Off 1000 667 Positive Energy Physical Therapy

School will start back August 26 (albeit much of it online), but football, volleyball and most other sports will not. And with gyms closed, how can you help your student athlete keep their edge, stay motivated, and provide a positive outlet for that pent-up energy?

Positive Energy is here to help your student with performance-based training, guidance in starting an off-season training program, and help recovering from an injury before season restarts.

Located in Redondo Beach, Positive Energy provides essential services and is open and available to help your student release the stress and boredom of not being able to play their sport. Working with us will not only slow deconditioning, but also provide positive motivation and accountability for the student athlete and decrease the likelihood of injury when sports start back.

Our sports performance training programs are custom designed around the individual’s sport and specific anatomic needs. For example, we have helped the following athletes:
• a long-distance runner correct his gait and strengthen targeted muscles to overcome a repeated injury vulnerability
• an ice skater work on her ankle strength to improve her jump landings
• a club volleyball player increase her vertical jump
• provided exercise and warm-up regimens to dancers and gymnasts for strength, flexibility and balance to prevent ankle strains

If your student could benefit from a conditioning outlet, make Positive Energy’s Sport Performance training part of your fall schedule!
