During college, I sustained an injury competing in club Judo that ended up requiring shoulder surgery. This experience opened me up to the world of physical therapy where I shared in both the joys and the frustrations many athletes walk along to return to play.
I now use my perspective as someone who has seen the personal success of physical therapy as well my knowledge as a skilled provider for viewing the body as a synergistic chain to help optimize one’s movement. Whether your goals are occupational or recreational —I have experience in assisting first responders, weekend warriors, combat sports injuries, Crossfitters, as well as weightlifting education and injury prevention.

I value the importance of activity in achieving overall health and wellness. I use an individualized approach to your care plan to achieve your goals, get you back to what you love to do, and prevent future injuries. One of the best parts about being a teammate at Positive Energy is the ability to have one on one time with each of my clients.
My experience of being a former competitive gymnast helps me relate to the athletes I treat. And because of my background, I have a special interest in working with pre-operative and post-operative care, including joint replacements, ACL injury, and rotator cuff repair protocol. Combining my years of experience as a PT and an athlete, I can offer the knowledge and skills to help you keep an active lifestyle and maintain wellness strategies in your life.

After injuring my knee playing soccer in high school, I discovered my calling in helping others with their physical wellness. Staying active is important to me, getting outside for exercise or a Pilates class as well as daily meditation has helped me maintain my physical and mental health. With the one on one sessions we offer at Positive Energy, I am excited to meet clients where they are, activity listen and help motivate them to reach their wellness goals.
As an adjunct faculty at USC within their Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy, I keep up to date on new and evolving practices and I am always willing to help teach and grow with those I care for. I look forward to getting to know each of my clients- what makes them happy, what they enjoy, and what they want to get back to doing.

I have found physical activity to be a huge assist for both my physical and mental well-being which helps me stay dedicated to my own wellness routine. For me it’s running, lifting weights with the occasional sport in the mix.
Having recovered through my share of injuries and knowing how limiting it can feel to not be able to participate in the things I love, I bring a knowledgeable yet empathetic perspective to helping others. My goal is to assure all those I care for feel heard, and then we work together on creating a plan to move out of limitations and back to an active lifestyle. I believe that every injury or health challenge offers an opportunity for the individual to return greater.

Interests include: Basketball, Golf, Running, Weight lifting, 49ers, and San Francisco Giants.
Growing up playing sports and staying active, I experienced firsthand how injuries can take you away from the activities you love. That perspective shapes how I treat my clients today by blending empathy with evidence-based movement analysis and individualized exercise programming to help people return stronger, more resilient, and confident in their movement.
I take pride in working closely with each client to understand their goals, whether that’s returning to sport, improving performance, or simply feeling better in their body day to day. I believe the best outcomes come from clear communication, collaboration, and progressive, goal-driven rehabilitation tailored to each individual.
I’m also a lifelong sports fan and follow the San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants. Living in Los Angeles as a Bay Area sports fan definitely comes with some friendly rivalry, but I wear it proudly. I believe movement is medicine, and helping people regain confidence in how they move.
