Doctors / Expertise

We believe teamwork promotes successful healing. Working in concert with you and your patients, we will help them recover from injury and/or surgery and restore function to previous levels.

First, we’ll develop a detailed rehabilitation plan based on your patient’s history of past and present orthopedic problems. Where appropriate, a slow-motion analysis of walking and running, along with functional tests, and strength and flexibility measures will be used to fine-tune the plan.

Then, we’ll do a return-to-sport assessment, designed to evaluate readiness for sports participation. It includes videotaping a series of jumping, cutting, landing and hopping activities at high intensities while we monitor risk factors. If the patient can demonstrate that they have recovered well, they’ll be cleared to play. If not, we’ll make further treatment recommendations.

Ongoing services include one-hour exercise sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings to help patients maintain benefits gained through Physical Therapy and retain readiness for sports and other activities.
